No Place to Lose Your Wings

A note from Erin:

Shall we start with a short and sweet poem?

Love, love, love.

It always comes back to that, doesn’t it? :)

I have been enjoying reading Maya Angelou’s book “Letter to my Daughter.” Here’s an inspiring question she asks in one of the essays which I thought I’d share with you today.

Did I learn to be kinder,
To be more patient,
And more generous,
More loving,
More ready to laugh,
And more easy to accept honest tears?

For me, it’s a great question to wonder into.
Not only for how I am with others, but how I am with myself.
Rough times are rough.
Kindness is so important.
Let’s give it as generously as we can to ourselves and each other, shall we?

Here’s a sweet reminder I found in my journal… A quote from our dear teacher and friend, Russell Delman.

How might you bring a little more love love love into your life today? For yourself and for others?

Cheers to your wings!
