Yoga
sessions.
Private yoga sessions are ideal for those who wish to have guidance in
developing a personal yoga practice, those working to heal an injury or
imbalance through therapeutic yoga, or those who prefer the one-on-one
attention that is hard to find in public classes. During your private yoga
session, together we will
design a personal practice for you based on your
physical capacities, your current constitution and your intentions for your
practice. I will provide you with written material and a simple illustration
of the sequence we develop to support your home practice. This may include
postures or asanas, breathing practices, meditative practices and lifestyle
choices. I will also offer feedback to support you in discovering your optimal
alignment in various postures and movements. A digital audio recording of our
session can be made into a cd (upon request) for a small fee.
Private
lessons in Feldenkrais
® are ideal
for those of you who are curious about ways you might
improve your ability to move and so your ability to function well, those of
you who want personal attention and supervision in your movement
explorations, and those of you who may have special needs in your movements.
In our private lessons,
we
guide you through a specially selected sequence of movements, and you will
have a chance to ask questions and receive personal feedback, thus giving
yourself an opportunity unfold your development with a teacher's guidance.
